In Kooperation mit dem Bolzano Film Festival Bozen, das in diesem Jahr bereits einen Fokus auf das zeitgenössische katalanische Kino setzte, richtet sich der Blick auf diese bedeutende Sammlung der Filmoteca de Catalunya: AVANTGUARDES AMATEUR. Die Filme spiegeln den gesellschaftlichen Umbruch der Zwischenkriegszeit zwischen Ende der 20er und Anfang der 30er Jahre wider und bewegen sich zwischen Avantgarde, Dokumentation und experimenteller Erprobung.
Matteo Paggi und Andrea Grossi erwecken diesen historischen Pioniergeist durch einen Soundtrack zwischen Jazz, Improvisation und Ambient neu zum Leben.

In collaborazione con il Bolzano Film Festival Bozen, che quest'anno ha dedicato un focus al cinema catalano contemporaneo, lo sguardo si rivolge a questa importante collezione della Filmoteca de Catalunya: AVANTGUARDES AMATEUR, opere amatoriali che hanno segnato una tappa significativa nella storia del cinema catalano. Le pellicole riflettono i cambiamenti sociali del periodo tra le due guerre, tra la fine degli anni Venti e l'inizio degli anni Trenta, spaziando tra avanguardia, documentazione e sperimentazione.

In collaboration with the Bolzano Film Festival Bozen, where contemporary Catalan cinema has been the focus this year, the spotlight shines on this important collection from the Filmoteca de Catalunya: Avantguardes amateur. At its heart are the films of amateur filmmakers, which represent a significant chapter in the history of Catalan cinema. Reflecting the social transformations of the interwar period between the late 1920s and early 1930s, the films move between avant-garde, documentary and experimental approaches.
